Welcome...

Inhabitants of Rwanda are called "Banyarwanda". They speak the same language, have the same culture, live on the same hills and, for centuries, have intermarried. The three "ethnic" groups are the Bahutu, the Batutsi, and the Batwa, referred to in the West as Hutus, Tutsis and Twas. The current population of Rwanda is about 8 million.

Rwanda is situated in Central Africa. Her neighbours are Dem. Rep. of the Congo to the west, Uganda to the north, Burundi to the south, and Tanzania to the east, in a region that is termed the Great Lakes because of the shared lakes, namely: Victoria, Kivu, George, Albert, Tanganyika, Kyoga and others.
